Operations Manager/Student Therapist

Samantha is both the heartbeat behind our operations and a warm, grounded presence in the therapy room. With over two decades of administrative leadership and more than 10 years of experience in the mental health field, she brings a unique blend of compassion, organization, and clinical insight to everything she does. She holds an Honours BA in Psychology from York University and is currently completing her Master of Social Work (MSW) through the University of Windsor.

Samantha is honoured to be offering counselling services as a student therapist under the close supervision of Roxanne Francis, Social Worker & Psychotherapist.

Samantha is passionate about supporting children, teens, adults, and older adults as they navigate a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Self-esteem and body image concerns

  • Disordered eating and eating disorders

  • Relationship issues and separation/divorce

  • Domestic violence

  • ADHD

  • Infertility and family-building struggles

  • Self-harm

  • Life transitions and emotional overwhelm

Her therapeutic approach is holistic, person-centred, and strengths-based, grounded in the belief that healing happens in a safe, collaborative, and affirming space. Samantha integrates a variety of evidence-informed modalities into her practice, including cognitive behavioural strategies, mindfulness-based techniques, narrative approaches, DBT-informed skills, and solution-focused conversations. She is committed to tailoring her approach to reflect each client’s individual goals, strengths, and lived experience.

Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, friends, and pets. She’s a lifelong Disney fan, a book lover, and a cottage enthusiast at heart.
