Connect & Reset Womens’ Group

A 10-Week Women's Group to
Help You Breathe Again, Get Clear, and
Feel Like Yourself

10 Weeks. 12 Women. One powerful reset.
Beginning Saturday January 17th • 11am–12:30pm
In-person at Francis Psychotherapy, Pickering

Life has been… a lot.
Between parenting, relationships, work, aging parents,
your bank account giving you side-eye, and the constant pressure to “hold it together,”
it’s no wonder so many women are running on empty.

Connect & Reset is your weekly pause.
Your place to breathe, share, learn, laugh, and feel less alone.
Your space to get grounded again — with guidance, community, and gentle accountability.

Led by Roxanne Francis, MSW, RSW with frequent guest experts.

Is This You?

You’re juggling all the things, and somewhere along the line, you got lost in the shuffle. You want:

  • A space where you don’t have to be strong all the time

  • Tools to reduce the overwhelm

  • Emotional regularity instead of emotional whiplash

  • A reset that feels doable, supportive, and structured

  • Connection with other women who “get it,” not just women who smile and struggle quietly

If that sounds about right, sis… this group was designed for you.

A woman looking out the window with the kind of contentment that can come with group therapy at Francis Psychotherapy Connect & Reset group
  • Everyone seems to be talking about this. But who is giving you REAL tools to help manage the symptoms in your life? Even if this is not your challenge, learning these tools can help you support your loved ones.

  • They don’t warn you that adulthood comes with levels. Aging parents, separation or divorce, work stress that never clocks out—it’s a lot. You’re expected to hold it all together while quietly falling apart. We’ll sort through the chaos, find steadier footing, and figure out what actually helps (not just what you’re “supposed” to do).

  • If your brain has 47 tabs open and none of them are loading, this one’s for you. Overwhelm thrives in chaos—and organization doesn’t have to mean color-coded binders and perfection. Guest speaker Nicole O. Salmon will help you quiet the noise, build systems that work for your life, and stop feeling behind all the time.

  • Do you have a man, a son, a father or a brother in your life that you care deeply about? How are you impacted by your relationship with them? We will talk about how you can support them, and how their energy is completely different from yours. Get the tools you need to make that relationship thrive.

  • When life feels loud, nature offers quiet. Stepping outside won’t fix everything—but it can help you breathe again. Guest speaker Renae Thomas-James will guide us in exploring how nature can be a meaningful, accessible part of healing and emotional restoration.

  • Trauma rewires how you move through the world. Your reactions aren’t overreactions—they’re protective. We’ll talk about what trauma actually does to the nervous system and how healing can happen without forcing yourself to revisit every painful detail.

  • I heard someone say “parenting is ghetto” and I agree!! It’s a lot, and sometimes it seems like there’s no right answer. What’s the middle ground between gentle parenting and threatening bodily harm? We’re going to find it together.

  • Money stress is loud. It shows up in your sleep, your relationships, and that constant low-grade panic in the background. Budgeting isn’t about restriction or shame—it’s about clarity and breathing room. Guest speaker Vanessa Bowen will help us talk about finances in a way that feels realistic, compassionate, and doable.

Why women love groups like this:

(Not testimonials — just patterns we notice.)

  • They feel less alone for the first time in a long time

  • They learn practical skills they can use immediately

  • They feel grounded instead of overwhelmed

  • They build connections far beyond the 10 weeks

  • They finally give themselves permission to slow down

Women don’t just walk away with tools… they walk away changed.
