Therapy Basics

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss your goals, concerns, and what brought you to therapy. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and see if we're a good fit to work together.

The length of therapy varies for each person and depends on your goals, the complexity of issues, and your commitment to the process. Some people benefit from just a few sessions, while others work with us for several months or longer.

Yes, therapy is confidential. What you share in session stays between you and your therapist, with very few exceptions required by law (such as imminent danger to self or others, or suspected child abuse).
Billing& Payment

Our individual therapy sessions are $150-200 per session. Couples and family therapy rates vary. We believe mental health care should be accessible and offer sliding scale options for those who qualify.

We are registered with most extended health benefit plans. Many of our therapists are covered under psychology, social work, or psychotherapy benefits. We recommend checking with your insurance provider about your specific coverage. -
We accept cash, debit, credit cards, and e-transfer. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
Appointments & Cancellations

You can book online through our Jane app booking system, call our office directly, or use the contact form on our website. We'll respond within 24 hours to confirm your appointment.

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee, though we understand emergencies happen and will work with you when possible.

Yes, we offer secure video therapy sessions for your convenience. Virtual sessions are available for individual therapy and can be just as effective as in-person sessions for many people.
